My wife Polly and I along with our friends Dick and Joanne Wade attended your talk Tuesday night at the library in St. Charles.  We were met at the door by Borage and were completely taken in with his charm and personality.  We realize that he is a working dog but on the road he must be your best friend and companion.  We are honored to have met him.

Your talk kept us spellbound for the entire two hours.  Your presentation made us feel like "we were there" and you could almost see your breath in the cold air.  Thank you for such an informative and entertaining evening.

Again, thank you for a wonderful evening and best of luck in your future endeavors.

Thank you so much for a fantastic program.  Everyone that I have talked to had a fun-filled, educational morning.  We counted 158 adults and 89 children, so we were very pleased with our numbers.  (I hope that Borage wasn’t too traumatized by the event).  You made our Big Read kickoff a enormous success.

Please let me know when you finish your book.  We would love to invite you back again to talk to the community and to help you with the book’s promotion.

Letter from Lauren Thibodeaux

I'm the dance teacher at Leander Middle School (the one who dressed up in all of your gear) with the red-headed mother who is now your biggest fan. Thank you so much for coming to our school and sharing your life with us. My students all said they loved meeting Borage and the teachers all wished you could have spoken longer, so we could have heard about more of your adventures. Also, thank you for entertaining all of my mother's questions. She is so excited to have met you and is now more enthralled than ever with the Iditarod. I too have been personally inspired by your amazing spirit and plan on keeping my students up to date on this year's race. I was on your website reading your nail-biting story about the Cam Am Race where your dogs got away from you and I have to know what happened to your team. Did they make it to the checkpoint on their own?

Sincerely,

Lauren Thibodeaux
